It's over a safety issue.

Nissan Ireland is recalling certain Micras over a safety issue.
Around 1,400 vehicles, manufactured between October 2016 and November 2019, are affected. Nissan says there may be cracks in the passenger airbag, potentially increasing the risk of injury when inflated.
In a statement, the car company said:
"Nissan Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of ‘Nissan Micra’ passenger vehicles.
"The vehicles in question were manufactured between October 2016 and November 2019.
"Nissan has established a safety concern, whereby it is possible that there are cracks in the passenger airbag which make it less effective as a protection, meaning that, when it inflates, the risk of injury could be increased."
Nissan will reportedly write to affected car owners directly to arrange an inspection. However, you can also get in touch with their customer relations team on 01 409110 or 1850 302 302 or email [email protected].
