Students to get full marks.
The Oral and practical tests for the Leaving and Junior Cert have been cancelled.
Students will be awarded full marks for the exams, which were due to start on Monday.
However, no decision has been made yet about the written exams in June, Education Minister Joe McHugh has said. The State Examinations Commission is currently working on the basis that the written state exams will go ahead as scheduled in June.
The school-based orals and practicals were due to start next Monday, and take place over a two-week stretch.
Students have also been given an additional three weeks to complete projects and coursework in a number of subjects, with the deadline now May 15th.
