And the heavy rain is coming back too.
Country-wide sub zero temperatures are forecast for tonight as the cold snap looks set to continue.
A nationwide snow/ice warning was lifted earlier today, but a second warning for Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo is now in place.
That warning is currently valid now, until noon tomorrow (Thursday).

Meanwhile it'll be cold right across the board tonight, with the possibility of frost and icy stretches and temperatures are set to drop to as low as -2 in places.
Cathal Nolan - from Ireland's Weather Channel - also expects heavy rain similar to what has been recently experienced around the country, to return.
''We do expect to see some heavy rainfall across the country,'' he said.
''The rainfall totals by Sunday could range anywhere between 30mm to 50mm in places.
''So the fact that we're getting a significant amount of rain fall on top of what is already saturated ground will lead to an exacerbation of the flooding crisis currently in many parts of the country.''
