Gusts of up to 100km/h are expected.
Met Éireann has updated it's wind warning for warning include Galway, after it issued one for Donegal and Mayo yesterday.
Wind speeds are expected to reach an average speed of 50-65km/h, with gusts of up to 90-100km/h, on Thursday.
The warning will be valid from 8am this morning until 8pm this evening.
The high winds are expected to carry on into the weekend, with Met Éireann forecasting the following for Sunday:
"Very windy, possibly stormy in Atlantic coastal areas, with strong to gale force southwesterly winds and with the risk of severe and damaging gusts, especially in the southwest, west and northwest."
Not a good day for drying!
