There's also warnings for 10 other counties.
County Donegal has been issued with a status orange weather warning for very strong winds with gusts reaching 100 to 120km/h.
While due to a combination of waves, spring tides and surge, the possibility of coastal flooding is increased.
The warning is valid from 8am on Thursday until 12pm that same day.
Status yellow for 10 counties.
Meanwhile, Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Dublin, Louth, Meath, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo and Clare have all received a status yellow warning.
Gusts of 80 to 110km/h can be expected in those counties with the possibility of coastal flooding is increased along western and northwestern coasts on Thursday.
That warning is valid from 4am until 6pm on Thursday.
