The body was found yesterday.
A body discovered at a beach in Galway has been identified as Robert Murray.
His remains were found at Ballyloughane beach in Renmore at around 8pm yesterday.
His body was taken to University Hospital Galway where a post mortem will take place, the Connacht Tribune reports.
Teams have been searching for the missing 25 year old for the past few weeks. He was last seen in the Shop Street area of Galway City at 10:15pm on January 8th.
