He's been nicknamed 'Le Spiderman'!

A video of Mamoudou Gassama scaling a building in Paris to rescue a four year old boy has gone viral.

The 22 year old from Mali climbed the four storey block of flats after he saw the child hanging from a balcony on Saturday.

He's been hailed a hero after he managed to get to the boy in less than 30 seconds and he's now been rewarded.

Mamoudou was given a medal for his bravery by French President Emmanuel Macron and has been made an official French citizen.

He's had his immigration papers fast-tracked as he only moved to the French capital a few months ago.

Mamoudou's also signed up for a 10-month-long internship with Paris' fire and rescue service.

With his agility and upper body strength we think he's going to get on just fine!
