The clean up from Hurricane Ophelia continues in Ireland, as we brace ourselves for Storm Brian tomorrow.

We've heard people's stories from across the country this week on how Ophelia affected them, the damage it caused and the community spirit that was evident throughout and in the aftermath.

This video was posted to Youtube, captioned "During the treacherous winds of Hurricane Ophelia an elderly man with a walking aid got out of the wrong lift at an apartment block in Tallaght and stepped right into a gust of breakneck speeds that was being amplified by the two tall buildings on either side causing a accelerated wind tunnel. He was in serious trouble immediately, however this was noticed by some brave locals who came from the apartment blocks and a nearby bar were they themselves were sheltering from the hazardous hurricane. These men risking there own safety grasped the man taking him to the far side of the building to safety. A rare glimpse into the kindness of human nature that can occur during extreme times."
