Donald Trump's planned visit to Ireland in November is now off.

It comes only two weeks after the White House announced that the US president would stop by the Emerald Isle as part of a trip to Europe.

Confusion remains over whether the visit is cancelled or postponed.

The Irish Government says that the visit has been postponed, while White House spokesperson Sarah Sanders says they "are still finalising whether Ireland will be a stop" on Trump's trip.

Amid the uncertainty, Garry and Fionnuala got thinking about life's difficult little decisions...

Where to park

We spend far too long driving around trying to find the perfect car parking space.

Even if there's plenty of spaces free, it can be tough to find the right one.

Which one is the closest to the shops but not too far from the exit?

We also want one with plenty of room to get out...because we don't want to end up like this guy.

Whether or not to get a fringe

At some in her life, almost every woman asks herself (and her friends) whether she should get a fringe.

Changing your look and stepping out of your comfort zone can be a scary prospect.

Will a fringe suit me? What kind of fringe will I get? Can I deal with the maintenance?

What if it doesn't suit me?

Well, there's not much you can do if it doesn't. But hair does grow...eventually. Just don't cut your own fringe.

Which pizza topping to order for a group

Pizza is the ideal food for a get-together.

You can order it to your house, you don't have to get forks and knives out, and it can feed a big group of people.

But which toppings should you order to please everyone?

Our advice? Avoid the controversial toppings (especially the pineapple) and you should be onto a winner.
