Rosey Blair has deleted the viral thread.

Last week, the world was head over heels about a story of two strangers finding love thousands of feet above the ground.

On a flight to Dallas, a woman named Rosey Blair asked the lady beside her to switch seats so she could sit with her boyfriend.

When the woman moved to the seat in front of her and hit it off with her seat mate, Rosey live tweeted their interactions.

Twitter went crazy over the blossoming romance and Rosey's thread quickly went viral.

The man, nicknamed Plane Bae, was identified as former professional footballer Euan Holden.

He and Rosey spoke to the press and appeared on various TV shows, using the story to promote themselves.

However, the female passenger was reportedly not happy to be identified and deleted her social media accounts after being harrassed.

Rosey's now apologised to the woman for invading her privacy and deleted the thread.

She tweeted: "The last thing I want to do is remove agency and autonomy from another woman."

She said watching the pair's interactions made her:

"...happy, joyful and overcome with authentic and sincere excitement. So much so that I could not see the potential exploitative nature of the outcome and my actions."
