Post-graduation traditions in Norway are full of nudity, booze, and public fornication

Sure, things can sometimes get a little out of hand when it comes to student's finally graduating High-School...

After the years of hard work and dedication they put into their studies, students feel they are entitled to let their hair down.

However, students in Norway take post-study antics to a whole new level.

And the Norwegian Government is urging them to stop.

According to the age-old Norwegian tradition of 'Russ,' High school students run naked across bridges, and reportedly engage in sex on roundabouts.

On Wednesday, Norway’s national transport regulator issued a statement ahead of the annual booze-fueled celebration, imploring students to abide by decent public standards.

Titled ‘No to sex on roundabouts’, Public Roads figure Terje Moe Gustavsen said: ‘Everyone understands that being in and around roundabouts is a traffic hazard.

‘It may not be so dangerous for someone to be without clothes on the bridge, but drivers can get too much of a surprise and completely forget that they are driving.’

Sadly, scores of accidents are reported each year during Russ, including a number of deaths, which lends a serious side to what is otherwise a rather humorous request.

Here's hoping the students of Norway stay safe this year... And keep off those damn roundabouts!
