Santa has set off with his reindeer on a mammoth journey to deliver millions of presents across the globe this Christmas Eve.

Mr. Claus will travel hundreds of thousands of miles, before arriving in Ireland in the early hours of Christmas morning.

Over 130,000 children in Ireland received letters from Santa this year, thanks to the good work of his elves in An Post.

He says with all those children on the 'nice' list, it's made his workshop extra busy this year.

NORAD have been providing the annual tracker service (below) from their base at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs since 1955.

Trackers worldwide can speak with a live-phone operator to inquire as to Santa's whereabouts by dialing the toll-free number 001, 1-877-Hi-NORAD (1-877-446-6723) (US NUMBER), by sending an email to [email protected] on by following the official NORAD Tracks Santa social media channels.

Amazon Alexa users can ask for Santa's location through the NORAD Tracks Santa skill for Amazon Alexa.

And remember to get to bed early tonight boys and girls, or Santa won't deliver your present. He'll find you no matter where you are - even if you've moved home recently, or live at a temporary address.

Ho, Ho, Ho.
