Aldi Are Selling A 'Shamrock Infused Gin'

Aldi are bringing out a special 'shamrock-infused gin' in time for St Patrick's Day.

The supermarket say the gin will go on sale in 137 stores nationwide for €19.99 for a 50cl from Thursday 28th February.

The gin is called Tower Gin and is made by Listoke Distillery in Co Louth.

All the ingredients for the gin, including the fresh shamrock, come from "the highways and byways of Co Louth".

The shamrock gin has been distilled in the traditional London Dry style.

They describe it as a "refreshing gin" with flavours of sweet orange and rosehips. It also has a mild, earthy taste which comes from the fresh shamrock.

And of course, it's green.
