A young Irish woman has died after a crash in Australia.
The woman in her 20s is believed to be from County Mayo and just arrived in Australia a number of weeks ago.
The incident happened in the Melbourne area, reports the Irish Examiner.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is aware of the incident.
A spokesperson told the paper:
"The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is aware of the case and is providing consular assistance.”
