Temperatures Will Hit 16 Degrees This Week

Ireland is in for a lovely long spell of warm weather this week. Met Eireann say temperatures will hit a sunny 16 degrees on Thursday.

The rest of the week is set to be decent too with average temperatures of between 12 and 14 degrees.

Here's how the weather this week is shaping up:

Tuesday

Tomorrow will be mostly dry with some spells of sunshine, especially in the morning. There'll be top temperatures of 14 degrees. Tuesday night will be dry and cold with clear skies and lows of 0 degrees.

Wednesday

It'll be another dry day on Wednesday apart from a few patches of drizzle in the north and west. Expect good sunshine across the south and east, but it'll be somewhat cloudier further north and west. Temperatures could hit 14 degrees during the day. There'll be clear spells and patchy cloud on Wednesday night with temperatures dipping to minus 1 degrees.

Thursday

It will be a mostly dry day, with patchy cloud and sunshine. Thursday is likely to be the sunniest day of the week and temperatures will be above average hitting highs of 16 degrees in some parts. However, cloud will increase on Thursday night with some patchy rain and drizzle developing and lows of 2 degrees that night.

Friday

The weather is set to be more cloudy on Friday with patchy light rain and drizzle in parts of Ulster and Connacht. There may be a few sunnier spells in parts of Leinster and highs of 15 degrees. Friday night will be mostly cloudy with patchy light rain and drizzle and lows of 3 degrees.
