Caffeine lovers are in for a treat as Coca-Cola has announced it's launching a new drink, which contains coffee.

Coffee Coke is what it says on the tin - it mixes the cola-flavoured soft drink with cold brewed coffee.

The drink is already available in Asia and Australia but it's coming to 25 new markets by the end of year.

The Daily Mail reports that CEO of Coca-Cola, James Quincy, said of the new drink:

"Coke Coffee was designed to reach consumers during specific occasions and channels like the mid-afternoon energy slump at work."

The announcement of Coffee Coke may have something to do with the fact that Coca-Cola purchased Costa Coffee earlier this year.

The company is also set to debut an energy drink in Spain and Hungary.
