Are you a sooner or later person when it comes to getting festive?

When it comes to Christmas, there are a few types of people.

The ones that love it and think the sooner than better when it comes to putting up the tree - November 1st.

While others will leave it quite late - we're talking a week or few days before.

Or there's what is probably considered "normal" - first week or so of December.

But apparently, there's a few dates that are considered ideal for getting the tree up.

Her.ie caught up with party decoration supplier, Ginger Ray, and Mark Rofe, owner of Christmastrees.co.uk.

Here's the 3 dates they rate for putting the tree up:

  • 28th November
  • 13th December
  • Christmas Eve

Having said that though, they explained how those dates are picked with real trees in mind.

Now that artificial trees are popular, people can get away with doing it earlier.

Maybe not quite this early though....

But what about taking the Christmas decorations down?

Well, traditionally that seems to be done around January 6th, but with Covid last year a lot of people kept them up longer just to perk up their mood.

If you want to get in the festive mood early, you can check out all your favourite Christmas songs non-stop on iRadio Christmas now.
