According to one survey anyway.
Do you think you have cool music taste?
Or would you prefer put on your headphones and hope no one asks you what you're listening to?
A survey has ranked artists in order of "coolness", so now we can determine if you should be proud or embarrassed of your music choices.
And it's come up with a very random and surprising list of artists.
Apparently, if you listen to Queen, The Beatles or Ed Sheeran, you're totally cool.
But not so much if you prefer Oasis or David Bowie - yet they still made the top 35.
Some notable artists who didn't make the list includes Kanye West and Beyonce - we're not quite sure why.
The study of 2,000 adults aged 18-65+ who listen to music was commissioned by MusicBox.market, according to swns digital.
The study found 27% of people admit they want other people to think they listen to ‘cool’.
But more than seven in 10 easily admit there is a place for cheesy, uncool music in everyone’s life.
The coolest genre was voted as Rock by 27 per cent – while pop was next on 23 per cent of the public vote.
So what are the qualities that make artists cool?
Participants say they look for bravery to try something new, not caring what people think and being popular with younger generations.
