A Russian news editor's thought to be in police custody after making an anti-war protest live on state TV.

Marina Ovsyannikova held up a sign behind the presenter saying: “Don’t believe the propaganda. They’re lying to you here.”

It's believed the journalist has been arrested and could be jailed.

Speaking through a human rights translator , the news editor said she had been working for channel 1 in Russia for the last few years, doing Russian propaganda and was very shamed of it.  She said she had let people lie and allowed the Russian people to be zombified.
