In case you were getting anxious about your upcoming flight out of Dublin...

The Dublin Airport Authority says it is confident that passenger delays seen recently will not happen again during the busy summer season.
It says the movement of 200,000 people in and out of Dublin Airport over the bank holiday weekend went smoothly.
Concerns that a repeat of the long delays would happen again, did not occur.

DAA spokesperson Graeme McQueen says a lot of lessons were learned from the previous weekend:
"We had the right number of staff in place, we were able to open as many security lanes as possible across the four days.
I think as well our new queuing system worked very well. So when you arrive at the terminals now, we basically split the passengers in two.
Those who are going straight to security go to the left, those who need to check in a bag or check in for their flight at the airport, they go to the right.
