Asylum seekers sleeping rough with no sanitation in Dublin

There are growing concerns about the health of asylum seekers sleeping rough in Dublin.

Around 200 refugees are sleeping in tents outside the International Protection Office.

The office is just a 10-minute walk from Leinster House.

They have no toilets, running water or sanitation.

Labour TD Aodhán Ó Ríordáin went down to Mount Street to look at the conditions:

"This is Ireland in 2024. This is basically a make shift refugee camp on our streets... people have been here for months".
