"I expect nothing other than satisfaction twice a week."
A landlord in Cork has come under fire after they offered a rent-free flat in an online ad, in return for sex twice a week.
The advert for a flat in The Lough area of Cork City was posted online on Wednesday in a classified advertisement site, run by a foreign registered company.
It stated: "Looking for a female tenant who's into sharing their body twice a week for payment."
Then when contacted by The Echo which posed as someone interested in taking up the offer, the advertiser said the property had its own bathroom, central heating and shared kitchen in the main part of the house.
And added: "I expect nothing other than satisfaction twice a week."
He continued that nobody has much money these days and that it is a "good idea, if everyone is an adult".
''Nothing forced and only mutual".
CEO of housing charity Threshold, John Mark McCafferty says ads like this highlight the housing crisis and vulnerability of some tenants:
''You point to the lack of supply in the private rental sector and you point to the wider crisis in housing,'' he said.
''And the vulnerability of certain tenants, younger tenants we are there to advise in them in this day to day challenging rental market''.
