There are confirmed cases in 23 countries outside of China.
Two people in England have tested positive for coronavirus.
Public Health England says they're members of the same family, but hasn't revealed details of where they're from.
"The patients are receiving specialist NHS care, and we are using tried and tested infection control procedures to prevent further spread of the virus," England's chief medical officer, Chris Whitty, said.
"The NHS is extremely well-prepared and used to managing infections and we are already working rapidly to identify any contacts the patients had, to prevent further spread," he added.
Meanwhile in Ireland, the Chief Medical Officer at the Department of Health says its NOT inevitable that the coronavirus will arrive in Ireland.
Last night the World Health Organisation declared it as a public health emergency of international concern.
Over 213 are known to have died from the virus with almost 10-thousand contracting it around the world.
Countries including Australia, Britain, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand and the United States have all reported cases.
