Crash test dummies are getting heavier to reflect rising obesity rates.

The safety ratings system, Euro NCAP, will announce new measures this week

At the moment the heaviest crash dummy is 15-and-a-half stone but that's planned to increase to 19-and-a-half stone.

Seatbelts and airbags are currently optimised for adults weighing 11-and-a-half stone.
