In just five days The Creeslough Community Support Fund has raised over one million euro.
The Creeslough Community Support Fund has raised just over one million euro in five days.
The fund, which was set up by the Irish Red Cross, is being supported by An Post and Applegreen.
A number of other corporate companies have donated online and in many post offices as well as shops around the country.
All donations will support those who have been bereaved, injured, made homeless, or left without an income as a result of the tragedy.
Irish Red Cross said that they will work with the community of Creeslough in the days and weeks ahead to ensure that all contributions will be used effectively and as needed.
