The criminals behind the HSE cyber-attack have started offering people’s personal information online.

The Financial Times says it's seen screenshots and files containing patient data, minutes of meetings and equipment purchase details.

The files were then emptied after the paper looked at the link.

Laura Noonan from the Financial Times says there were 27 files, which included the personal records of 12 people.

It included a full admission report for a named individual including the names of the patient's doctor, contact details for their next of kin and details, notes and lab reports relating to the patient.

Technology Correspondent Jess Kelly has said the situation has just become more much more serious.

The HSE still insists it will not pay the ransom demanded by the hackers.
