Leading Mock exam paper manufacturer DEB Exams says it's suspending all products and services to schools for the rest of the academic year.
It means the company will not be able to fulfil any orders that schools have already placed.
DEB Exams has been providing mock papers and exam stationery for over 75 years.
They also employ staff to set, review and edit exam papers, as well as correct and supervise the correction of scripts.
The company says the decision is beyond its control and is the result of latest government announcements - as well as tighter Level 5 Covid restrictions.
The move could see some schools not able to complete mock exams this year and will heap more pressure on Education Minister Norma Foley.
