The dogs have been put down.
An 8 year old boy is in a critical in hospital this morning after he was attacked by two Rottweiler dogs in Dublin yesterday.
The incident occured at a house in Tallaght at around 4pm.
The boy was taken to Tallaght Hospital with serious injuries before being transferred to Crumlin Children's Hospital.
The Rottweilers have since been put down.
Gardai at Tallaght Garda Station are investigating but it’s being treated as a tragic incident.
