Irish journalist Donie O'Sullivan says Twitter CEO Elon Musk appears to be banning accounts from the platform just because he doesn't like them.
The CNN reporter was one of a number of journalists who was suspended overnight, after they had all been reporting on the banning of an account which tracked Mr Musk's private jet.
Any account doxxing real-time location info of anyone will be suspended, as it is a physical safety violation. This includes posting links to sites with real-time location info.
Posting locations someone traveled to on a slightly delayed basis isn’t a safety problem, so is ok.

Mr O'Sullivan, who's from Kerry, says the ban appears to be permanent.
Speaking on CNN last night, he says it has serious ramifications for those who are reporting on Elon Musk's other interests:
"In terms of me personally, many of the national reporters at The Times and The Post - we're ok. We have a platform and just like when Trump got kicked off, we can post elsewhere.
"I do think this is very important about the potential chilling impact this might have for freelance journalists, independent journalists around the world, particularly those who cover Elon Musk's other companies like Tesla and SpaceX, I think this could have a real chilling factor."
