Gardai have arrested a man in Co Louth in connection with the capital murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe.

On a cold and windy night in January of 2013, Detective Donohoe was shot from close range outside Lordship credit union.
Aaron Brady, from Crossmaglen, County Armagh was the one who pulled the trigger and killed the detective.
In October, he was handed the mandatory life sentence for the capital murder of Detective Donohoe.
He will have to serve at least 40 years in prison.
After the sentence was handed down, Detective Donohoe's family said their quest for justice would continue.
This morning a man was arrested by Gardai in Co. Louth in connection with the capital murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe.
He was taken into custody at around 8:30am and is now being questioned at Dundalk Garda Station.
