Over 3 point 6 million euros worth of cigarettes have been seized at Dublin Port.
Revenue officers and Detector Dog Milo discovered more than 4 million cigarettes in a container that had arrived from Rotterdam in The Netherlands last Thursday.
The seizure is part of Revenue’s ongoing operations targeting the sale and supply of illegal cigarettes and tobacco in the shadow economy.
Investigations are ongoing.
