The funeral of Hugh Kelly takes place one week on from the day the explosion claimed the lives of ten people.
Image via Twitter59-year old Hugh or Hughie Kelly, is the oldest person who was tragically killed in last week’s explosion in County Donegal.
His mass takes place this morning at 11am in St.Michael’s Church, Creeslough and will be attended by President Michael D Higgins,
Hughie is the eighth person who’ll be laid to rest in the past 7 days.
Yesterday President Higgins met those involved in the recovery operation including cocker spaniel Tess and Labrador Brodhe from the Search and Rescue Dog Association of Ireland.
It’s believed a gathering will take place in Creeslough this afternoon, to mark a week since the tragedy.
