Mr Burke believes having to pay a daily fine is punishment against his religious beliefs

Enoch Burke believes he is being punished for his religious beliefs, by having to pay a daily fine.
The 700 hundred euro fine kicked in from 2pm yesterday, after Mr Burke missed a deadline set by the judge for purging his contempt.
Instead of going to the High Court, Mr Burke again turned up at Wilson's Hospital School in Co Westmeath yesterday morning.
Speaking to reporters before he left the school yesterday, he said he'll be 'holding on' to his beliefs:
"I will be holding on to my religious belief. I think everyone in this country should hold on to their religious belief.
"It's a wonderful thing to believe in God. I cannot trade my religious belief for a belief in transgenderism. It's just something I cannot do.
