It's expected to be a vote of solidarity.

Eurovision 2022 kicks off next week with two semi-finals.

The first one takes place on Tuesday next from 8pm.

While Ireland's entry, Brooke Scullion, will take to the stage on Thursday for the second semi-final.

The 20 successful semi-finalists will join the lineup for the grand final, on Saturday, May 14th.

As usual, the “big five” of Germany, Spain, Italy, France and the UK are automatically already in the final.

That's because they're the ones funding the annual competition.

We've had a look at the odds ahead of the competition week, and a huge sign of solidarity is expected.

Ukraine has been tipped as the favourite to win.

Countries are expected to show their support for the country on the back of the Russian invasion.

The UK are placed second-favourites to win with Sam Ryder representing them.

Unfortunately for us, it's not looking too good odds-wise for Ireland's entry.

We're well down the odds list, according to several odds sites, including eurovisionworld.com.
