Northern Ireland has its first case of coronavirus.

Health officials say a person who travelled from Italy via Dublin is being treated at a specialist unit. It's the first case of coronavirus on the island of Ireland.

Earlier today, the HSE said it doesn't believe wearing masks in public is an effective way of preventing the spread of Covid-19.

Members of the public have been questioning whether they should wear a mask to protect themselves from getting the virus.
