Snow is affecting a number of flights across Europe - including Ireland.

There are delayed arrivals to Dublin Airport from a number of locations this morning, including London, Lisbon, and Amsterdam.

The DAA says the airport is fully open and operational today, but there are knock-on delays from weather disruption yesterday.

It says all runways have been treated and teams are on-hand to help passengers to rebook cancelled flights.

Yesterday 143 flights due to depart or land at Dublin Airport were cancelled.

A spokesperson for the DAA says some airlines experienced delays to their flight schedules due to difficulties de-icing their aircraft, which is the responsibility of the airline.

Eoghan Corry of Air and Travel Magazine says passengers should check with their airlines for up-to-date information on their flights.

In the UK, Manchester Airport says it's temporarily closed both its runways because of snow - as forecasters warn of travel disruption caused by the freezing temperatures.
