There's new urgency for the prospect of 'grand coalition' talks between Fianna Fail and Fine Gael.

A Red C poll for the Business Post shows the electorate don't want to face a second election, any time soon.

The Green Party has today invited Sinn Fein, Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and the Social Democrats to a series of bilateral meetings later this month.

They're calling for talks on how to discuss a new government that can deliver on housing, health and the environment.

The party - which is now the fourth largest in the Dáil - says it will hold discussions on a series of dates between February 21st and 29th.
