From 4am on Friday arrivals from 33 countries will have to pre-book into the system.
The Health Minister says Britain isn’t on the list of countries as the UK variant of Covid-19 is already the dominant strain here.
It's not cheap though, a 12-night stay will cost 1,875 euro.
Meals will be provided to people who are quarantining.
The initial list contains 33 countries that will have mandatory quarantine enforced.
However Taoiseach Micheál Martin says he expects more countries to be added to the list based on the how the Covid-19 situation develops around the globe.
