Two different polls show support for Sinn Féin is on the rise.
A new Sunday Times opinion poll has shown that support for Tánaiste Leo Varadkar and his party is dropping.
Sinn Féin leads Fine Gael by 10 percentage points in that poll.
Leo Varadkar's party has dropped two points to 23 per cent, while Mary Lou McDonald's is up three, at 33.
The Tánaiste's personal satisfaction rating has also fallen by 9 points, to 39.
Sinn Féin also secured top place in the Business Post/Red C poll for the first time since Red C began its tracking for the newspaper in 2003.
