Two senior members of An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha have resigned following the scandal over alleged cheating in Irish dancing.
The Irish Independent reports the leading members stepped down following a meeting in recent days.
The organisation is the oldest Irish dancing body, but has become embroiled in controversy over claims about some dance teachers and judges cheating.
Irish Independent reporter Ellen Coyne says the two people who resigned weren't being investigated for alleged cheating:
"It's very important to clarify at this point in time that neither of them were under any suspicion for being involved in alleged cheating or fixing."
"From what we understand, they have resigned as a result of the controversy and perhaps how it was handled by the organisation."
