Preparations are well underway for tomorrow night's Oscars ceremony in Hollywood.
Cork man Cillian Murphy is up for Best Actor for his role in Oppenheimer.
Irish company Element Pictures' production Poor Things has been nominated for numerous accolades, including the award for best picture.
Ed Guiney from the company, says its a team effort. " It's directed by a Greek man, written by an Australian, and there's lots of, it's a multinational production. But it was built out of elements offices, really, in Dublin, you know, on O'Connell Street. And there's a whole gang of, you know, of our colleagues working in production, business affairs, development, finance, all of whom have been in the middle of this for the last almost 10 years."
