It's believed at least 50 people have been let go from its engineering teams.
Technology Editor with the Sunday Business Post, Emmet Ryan, says it's unknown if Ireland's employees will be affected:
"It's really hard to work out right now who exactly is being affected by it. Twitter has already cut about 70% of its workforce since, well the purge started when Elon Musk took over back in autumn. Who's going to be effected is still unclear, Ireland was obviously particularly hit by the previous cuts. The problem of course now with Ireland is now there are so few working there now that finding out what's going on is actually a challenge."
