A man named as one of the key members of the Kinahan cartel has been arrested in Spain.
Johnny Morrissey was among seven people connected to the crime group that were targeted with US sanctions in April.

The Irish Times reports the 62 year-old was arrested on Monday on the Costa del Sol on money laundering charges and remanded in custody yesterday.
Meanwhile a report by the Irish Independent says:
"He smiled initially after being surrounded by police and was handcuffed. However, his grin turned to a grimace as he was led away and tried to hide his face when he realised press photographers were present."
It followed an operation involving six different police forces, including Gardaí.
