The timetable for this year's Leaving Cert has been announced.
Yesterday, the government announced how the exams are going to happen this year. Students will get a choice between accredited grades and sitting a written exam in each subject.
The written exams will begin on June 9th with English Paper One. They'll finish up on Tuesday 29th when exams in Japanese, Politics and Society, Arabic and Physical Education will all take place.

Yesterday, the cabinet sub-committee on education approved a model that will see all students offered predictive grades for each subject.
They'll then be able to select which written exams they do and will take the higher of the two results towards their final points.
This year's Junior Cert has been cancelled.
