Detectives investigating the killing of a nine-year-old girl in Liverpool, have made an arrest.
A 35-year-old man, who is believed to have been the intended target of the shooting, is being held on suspicion of breaching his prison release terms, but he will also be questioned about what happened on Monday night.
Olivia Pratt-Korbel had been standing behind her mother when a chase found its way into her home.
It is the latest in a string of fatal attacks in Liverpool recently, and youth worker Paul Walmsley says action needs to be taken:
"We have to come together as a community, as an area, and be a voice for this. It cannot go unnoticed, it cannot just be another incident that we just carry on our lives."
