The medical scientists have been taking industrial action as they call for better pay and conditions.

Medical scientists have suspended further industrial action in their dispute over pay and conditions.
They have accepted an invitation to attend the Labour Court for exploratory talks.
Both the Medical Laboratory Scientists' Association and the HSE/Department of Health have accepted the invitation.
The MLSA has now called on its 2,100 members to resume work as normal tomorrow.
Thousands of hospital procedures have been cancelled because of today's strike as well as action that took place last week.
Stephen McMahon, from the Irish Patients' Association, says this evening's development is very positive:
"We welcome the decision to call off the action tomorrow. The 30,000+ patients who were affected by the strike must be rescheduled back into the system with extra clinics and theatre space."
