Louise Bayliss from SPARK- which represents single parents- is disappointed there aren't targeted supports for vulnerable families:
'These general increases in social welfare rates and one off packages do not target where support is needed and we were slightly hopeful because there were no real measures in the budget for lone parents last year and we were really hoping that there would be some sort of adjustment to make up for that this year but obviously that hasn't happened.'
