Supply issues remain due to a shortage in semi-conductor chips

Concerns have been raised around the availability of the Playstation Five this Christmas.
The limited availability of a computer chip could lead to problems for those with a Playstation 5 on their Christmas list.
It’s one of the most hotly anticipated presents this year, alongside the Barbie Dolls and the latest Lego Star Wars collection.
E-gaming expert, John Reilly believes this issue coupled with high demand, there’s likely to be a scramble for the console this year.
"Unfortunately its kind of a ripple out affect across the whole industry when it comes to technology and new pieces of hardware that just can't function without the semi- conductor chips."
At the moment it’s sold out in every Smyths store around the country, however a new batch of PS5s are expected in a couple of weeks' time.
For younger kids it seems dolls and dinosaurs are still a popular choice but for the older ones - the PS5 is topping many lists.
According to the latest Dreamtoys list, Squishmallows and Rainbow High dolls are big crowd pleasers - something these parents say are on the Santa lists.
Responding to concern over the shortage in playstations, Santa says kids shouldn’t be too concerned.
So children will have to behave extra-well for another 49 days according to Mr.Clause
