The former Sinn Féin councillor spent a sixth day under cross-examination in Mr Hutch's trial for the murder of David Byrne at the Regency Hotel in 2016.
Today, defence barrister, Brendan Grehan SC, put more clips to Jonathan Dowdall from his bugged conversation with Gerry Hutch. They were taken from the ten hour recording of their journey to and from Northern Ireland to meet Dowdall's Republican contacts one month after the Regency attack.
Last week, Dowdall claimed that during a meeting in a park a few days after the shooting, Mr Hutch told him he was one of the gunmen. Today, Mr Grehan pointed out that at no stage during that bugged car journey does his client use the first person when talking about what happened at the Regency.
He said he uses third person pronouns like, 'they' and 'them' and never says, 'we did this' or 'we did that.'
The court also played a clip of their conversation while on their way back to Dublin.
Dowdall told the judges he felt he was being wrongly blamed for getting a dissident Republican involved and he was concerned he was going to be shot dead over it.
