Revenue Intercept Major Drug Supply at Dublin Airport

Officers from the Revenue discovered a large number of drugs at Dublin Airport.

They found them in a consignment on air cargo that arrived from the US on Monday.

Officials seized 9.6 kilos of herbal cannabis which has an estimated street value of €178,000.

In a separate seizure, officers also discovered 80,000 illegal cigarettes while searching a package from Spain on Sunday.

So far, there have been no arrests in either case.
